For over 65 years, Hermosa Beach Friends of the Library (HBFoL) has supported literacy and culture in the South Bay.

From funding library programs that serve thousands of attendees annually to re-distributing thousands of donated books across our region, we make a direct, tangible difference in our community. Sponsorship Impact
We are seeking sponsors and larger donors to support both our programs and our general operations. Some examples of the impact your gift can have are below; please reach out to learn more about current sponsorship opportunities!

$500: Support 1-2 programs for children, teens, or adults at the Hermosa Beach Public Library

$1,000: Provide new materials and supplies that will help our team of volunteers receive and process more books donated by our community

$2,500: Sponsor our 2025 Author Series, celebrating our local literary culture and driving cultural appreciation

$5,000: Help grow our Pages for Progress program, expanding our efforts to deliver much-needed books to local nonprofits, teachers, schools, and more.
